Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
cncArtist doesn't collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your designs stay on your device or in your own iCloud Drive.
What cncArtist collects
Nothing. cncArtist doesn't send your designs, G-code, machine settings or usage to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives data from the app.
Where your files live
Projects, tools and settings are saved on your device. If you turn on iCloud Drive, cncArtist stores your projects in your own iCloud Drive so they appear on your other devices. That storage belongs to your Apple Account and is covered by Apple's privacy policy. We can't see it.
When you import or export a file, cncArtist only reads or writes the file you choose.
The one network request
When you make a topographic map, cncArtist downloads public elevation tiles for the area you pick from an open dataset hosted on Amazon Web Services. The request contains the map tile coordinates, as any web request does, plus your device's IP address. It doesn't include your name, your account or your designs. If you never make a topo map, cncArtist makes no network requests.
Feedback
When you send feedback from inside the app, cncArtist builds a ZIP file and hands it to the share sheet. You choose where it goes and can look inside it first. Nothing is sent automatically.
Children
cncArtist doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If cncArtist ever starts collecting data, we'll say so here before the update ships.
